Wedding rings are worn on the third finger of the LEFT hand. Unless, of course, there is no available finger.
Class rings, however, are often worn on the right hand--especially if one was a graduate of Salesian High School in Richmond, CA in 1969. It was all-boys, then. And our stone was an onyx, which made our ring a pretty good substitute for brass knuckles.
